At the helm of the Oceans Dermatology team is a brother-sister dermatology duo. Born in Romania and inspired by their physician mother, they pursued medicine as a career. Having suffered a loss in the family due to melanoma in their early childhood, dermatology has always been personal.
Drs Gherghina and Damse each completed a four-year dermatology residency, a one-year Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship, and a one-year pigmented lesion fellowship.
They are both board-certified in dermatology and fellowship-trained in Mohs surgery.
More importantly, however, they maintain that age-old approach where each patient is treated carefully and tactfully as their own family members.

Dr. Damse is such a pleasant medical professional and a perfectionist in her patient care. Every time I've went in it has been a great experience. She has cared for a few of my family members in regards to finding and removing skin cancers. We couldn't be more pleased. Her staff is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good dermatologist be it for skin cancer, Mohs surgery, or cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Amelia Damse and Dr. Andrei Gherghina are the best. You get the sense that they are passionate about what they do unlike others in the medical field.
They are thorough and knowledgeable. They are willing to take their time to make sure your questions are answered. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough, whether it’s for surgery or cosmetics. I even heard they might start doing emsculpting soon, so we’ll be able to get everything done in one place.
Dr. Amelia is the best. Every time I go into the office I know I’m in great hands. She has helped me clear my skin and resolve many other issues quickly and efficiently.

Best dermatology office I’ve been too! Staff members are so nice and caring and the office is kept super clean. Ask for Dr. Andrei Gherghina, he has improved my brother and I’s skin so much. Nurse Elaine is awesome as well :) I recommend them highly !
